It is my pleasure to return to Bartlesville once again. I lived in this city for 24 years from 1990-2014. For 22 years, I taught art at Central Middle School. Art Teaching and the making of art in its many forms has been my passion since I was a small child. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and received my B.F.A. from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL.

In 1986 I earned my Masters Degree in Art Education at the University of Houston. I spent my teaching career in Texas and Oklahoma, with a three year stay in Hong Kong, where I taught art at the Hong Kong International School.

In addition to public and private art teaching, I have been an adjunct instructor of art at Rogers State University and Oklahoma Wesleyan. My own art has been a vital force in my life and I have traveled throughout the U.S. participating in art shows.

Since my retirement from public school teaching, I have conducted many workshops in watercolor, drawing, acrylics, colored pencil and pen and ink.
