I am a retired engineer / scientist from Phillips Petroleum, now enjoying painting. I received art training as a student in Buffalo NY during the 1960’s and 1970’s and was encouraged to pursue an art career. However, a college education in science seemed to be a better choice. So art took a back seat for 37 years.

Now, upon retiring, I have been able to resume art. My favorite medium is oils. The smell, the flow, the colors, the techniques are all great.
