Art Camp is for Grades 1 – 12

BAA Art Camp June 2025

Art Camp Week 1 – Drawing  Learn to draw what you see and use your imagination as well. Learn to draw in perspective and with 3-D shapes.

Art Camp Week 2 – Painting  Learn painting techniques for watercolor and acrylics. How to paint landscape, still life, and portraits.

Art Camp Week 3 – Sculpture  Spend the week building sculptures and assemblage work with materials such as junk, wire, paper mache, and clay.

Art Camp Week 4 – Printmaking Make prints with a variety of materials and processes such as dry point, relief print, and monotype.

Grades 1st and 2nd 9:00 – 10:00 am
Grades 3rd and 4th 10:10 – 11:10 am
Grades 5th and 6th 11:20 – 12:20 pm
Grades 7th and up 12:50 – 2:00 pm
Mixed level 2:10 – 3:10 pm

Location is our BAA art space at Comanche Center, just off Frank Phillips Blvd.

Art Camp is for Grades 1 –12.

Art Camp Scholarships are available

Scholarships are given out of a special fund provided by the Bartlesville Art Association and our donors.  Scholarships are based on need so students needing a full scholarship can apply for one and students needing partial assistance can be provided for as well. 

Let Mr. Graham know by emailing boomerang_g@sbcglobal.net  as a way to apply for scholarship funding.  Please provide name of student(s), grade they will be in the fall, and which weeks of Art Camp and sessions they would like to have a spot (example, Painting Week, Grades 3 & 4 10:10-11:10.)
