Photography Class
“Narrative Storytelling Through Photography”
Taught by Andy Dossett
Date: Saturday, September 7
Time: 4 – 6 pm
Cost: $30.00
Supplies: Camera – any kind of camera – phone, digital, or film
Some photos are technically great but don’t tell a story and some photos are mediocre but do tell a story. Andy will teach participants how to create a narrative or story with their photography.
For the first hour of class students will meet at the BAA Art Center to see examples of Andy’s photographs and hear a short lecture about telling a story through one’s photos.
Afterwards, students will all drive to the same downtown location for a photo walk to practice.
This class is for all skill levels and includes high school students and adults. The minimum number for the class is 10 and the max is 20. BAA classes are open to members and non-members.
