“Art 101” Classes are taught by BAA members for BAA members. You get one FREE “Art 101” class with your annual membership.
These short, casual classes are a great way to explore new mediums, stretch your wings and try something new.

The Basics of Art "Art 101" Class
Taught by Fred Cook
We will talk about the basic building blocks of art demonstrated through drawing. This will include things like composition (The One Third philosophy); how to start a sketch; perspective; the color wheel; contrast and other aspects used in creating two dimensional art. We will discuss different ways to start a painting like light boxes, drawing, projection. There will also be time for questions.
