“Art 101” Introduction to acrylic painting

Instructor Janet Odden makes acrylics accessible and fun for beginners, debunking the myth that they are costly and complex. The course simplifies modern tools and brushes in a structured way, teaching color mixing, cleanup, and vibrant color application. 

With tips from experienced instructor Janet Odden, students gain a solid understanding of composition and expression.

Participants learn fundamentals and create small paintings. Students can bring their materials or use a provided set for a small fee of $10, ensuring all have the tools needed for this artistic journey.

All “Art 101” classes are FREE for members.  Non Members are $40.  Class size limited to 15 students.
